Hi, my car is currently stuck like this:

Cant get the holes to line up, its being a right arsehole. The only way at the moment I can get them anywhere near each other is to push down hard on the hub but this really isnt helping.

Probably something really easy but its my first time trying this

First time I did mine I had the same problem. Second time I used a wooden broom handle as a lever, pushing the hub down so the holes lined up. (Put the broom handle under the engine / chassis and over the hub) another pair of hands helps as well.

need two peoples to do it, you have to push down the brake disc & someone put the bolts in.

are both front wheels off the floor ? an the car jacked up properly ? could be the anti roll bar stoping it from going down far enough. am not a 100% on this sort of thing though.

Its the antiroll bar pushing the hub up^, you need to lever the hub down someway to get the bolts in. I use a tyre level between the wishbone and the subframe and get someone to stand on it to get the hub down. You could do it yourself but it'll be harder to get the holes lined up, if you can get them near enough and stick a big screwdriver through one of the bolt holes you can use that to line them up and get a bolt in.

Brute force and ignorance is the way forward here.

Just snapped my broom handle in half, winnar...

I only have 1 side of the car off the floor, will having both off aid me in lining these damn holes up?

Yes, it'll level out the antiroll bar. You should always jack both sides up really.
