Hi,guys I have pms shifter on Clio172 and almost after every race (autoslalom/autocros) I have a problem with reverse gear. When the car stay after race and get cooling after some time when the engine is more cold can get reverse gear. When I looked at linkage it was not loosened.

Cant get reverse gear after race

Reverse is over rated.
I have just refitted engine and gearbox and getting reverse is difficult. I've adjusted the linkage many times and still can't sort it. It has been suggested that I loosen engine/gearbox mounts and move engine over a little then re-adjust.
Can you get reverse from under the car by moving the gearbox selector arm by hand? I can select reverse this way just fine so mine is a linkage issue.
