Car central locking key doesn't lock car

Just joined the forum and need a bit of help.

I own a Clio mk2 ph1

Mycar recently has not been Unlocking from using my key so I have to lock every
door with the key hole.

Ive looked on the web and found the thing about holding the middle locking button
down for five seconds and then waiting for immob light to stay on. Then trying to lock it

Also disconnected battery and reconnected. This didn't work either

Also my car keeps taking ages to start, when I put the key in and turn the imimmob light flashes really fast and doesn't start. Any help would be appreciated
