Car clean day, any pointers?

I am going to give the liquid yellow a fantastic going over. Are there any products that anyone will give the thumbs up for, I have turtle wax and it's great but I want to really make it spotless (pictures will come after the big clean!)

You have "Turtle wax and it's great", I thought Turtle wax was the brand?

Depends how far you wanna go really. Dodo Juice and Auto Finesse both do some good quality products suitable for everyone and with the price tag not being too hefty. E.g. as a base of what you'd want to do - Dodo Born to be Mild is a good shampoo, Autofinesse Tough Coat is an easy to use sealent with good reviews.

Look at the other detailing sticky threads for more info about other stages regarding polishing, de contaminating and doing the wheels etc.

1st of all you need to get your wash method right before you even consider other products, read the stickied threads at the top of the section and pre washing, 2 bucket wash method, correct drying and de contamination. once you're up to speed with that then look at products such as cleansers, glazes, wax and sealants.
