car cut out, trip computer reset, reason and cure please??

Morning all,

Right ive recently had my battery out to change my ecu, uch over and thats fine. Now before i did this there were no issues regards to the cars trip computer etc resetting itself.

Since then however, trip computer has reset itself a couple of times overnight and twice in a week the car has randomly cut out (starts up again straight away mind), i can live with it but would obviously rather get it sorted to be honest.

I would appreciate any help, cheers folks!

only seems to happen when coming in under 15 mph if that helps

i had this problem a few times,car went dead and alarm chipped then trip reset few times.turned out that i had a loose battery terminal easy fix mate,well hopefully.give them a check and see how it goes

Was your car dying as you were driving mate?

It was fine and I took my battery out about a week ago, so ever since then, so a good clean of the terminals tonight I'm going to try

scrubed terminals lastnight but still the same problem, ever since i took it out last week!
could taking the battery out of damaged it at all ?
