Car Insurance

Anyone recommend a company that being 22 I can get insured with and driver other cars 3rd party? It would be handy to be able to drive my mums from time to time etc but alot of companies i've looked at don't allow it until your 25.

Tbh I think you'll find it very hard to find one. As you say most companies won't do it until your 24 or 25 if at all. If you do find one let me know!!

My brother has had it since he was 21, he's away at the mo tho so can't find out who he's insured with and need it sorted by tuesday lol.

Some policies cover you though third party with the owners permission, that's what my mum's directline one does anyways. Not sure on the age aspect though.

Admiral/Bell/Elephant do it but you have to pay an extra £17(IIRC) for the ability to drive other peoples cars 3rd party.

I'm with Bell and they wanted £150 extra just to drive another car 3rd party!

Bell do it, but when my renewal came it was now an extra £150.

Farmers union also do it, well they offered me it but the quote for the car was much too much.
