Was happily driving my car back to college, stopped in the car park and I heard my m8s say, "your car is leaking serious amounts of oil" I was like "oh for f**k sake now what". Just previously I hit a dear and it damaged my front bumper and I needed a new radiator!
But anyway, we were all looking under the car and was trying to find out what the hell had gone wrong, he all had guesses of the head gasket being blown, or a pipe came lose, to be honest none of us really new! So I rang my dad and drove it 20miles to the mechanics place, I was doing 30 the whole and got over taken so many times! Really annoying! So I made it to the garage and dropped it off, still oil leaking every where!
The next day I got "dropped" in to college, and for my lunch break had to "walk" to a destination lunch zone. The mechanic rang me and said the gear box had been broken/split, I either must of went over something and hit it or it just broke because of the build quality of Renault.
Going back - I was driving, I went over this drains which were stick out about 10 cms, I heard a thump but just sounded like me going over it normally, that might of been it. My dad says thinks its down to my driving, I do thrash the car about but I never let the revs go over 6-7, but I sometimes dump the clutch and it makes this horrible thump sound!
I got a 1.2 16v (02), can these cars handle being thrashed? There is also a problem with the Renault warranty, if I ran over something and it was my fault, Renault will not cover it! So I f**king home its Renaults fault not mine!
It should take about 1-2 weeks for car to be fixed; I will get a courtesy car hopefully...and then thrash the hell out of that lol
Well anyway, I got a nice crap weekend coming up!
