car just broke!

my 1.2 litre clio has just died went to go get a takeaway and the car jst felt like it was stalling, got my next door neighbour (who knows engines) and by the sounds of it its one of two things...
1. damp air has caused water to get on the jump leads.
2. or the wires need changing.

either way its just pumping s**t out of the exhaust and feels like its stalling if you rev it. not too worried cus the mot

Probably the HT Leads and Coil pack. That'll make ur car feel jerky and lungey. It's a weird feeling. Cheap fix

yeye just one of those things where it first happens and you like ahhhh im going to die lol but really nothing serious. at least its not an expensive job.

yeye mate its a 53 reg. mot is next month so just had the shrot straw and its ahppened 1 week too soon

take the leads off and clean the plug contacts. Look at the tips and see if the are cacked in soot or if there is any damage. You could use an anti damp spray to eliminate water penetration.
Its the plugs and leads havent been done in a while id start there. see if there is anyone local who would switch components to eliminated parts like leads and coil packs.
all pretty easy to do and cheap to fix
