car not turning over!

Hi i have a H reg clio 1.2 rn, and it was working fine, but when i try to start it nothing! when i put the key in the ignition and turn it the normal lights on dash come on and system works etc, but the engine is not turning at all!

Can anyone help me out...?

HT leads, Dizzy cap, rotar arm, spark plugs, coil and battery should all be checked. I ended up replacing all apart from coil when mine did this last month. Even with this lot replaced (dizzy was shot by the way 8years old) the car would not turnover and had to be bump started. Fine since.

check the starter moter connections espicially the solenoid wire.check for battery voltage at the large red wire/terminal and 12volts at the other thin wire when the key is in the crank position.check the battery is fully charged up(above 12volts).if all ok and the engine still doesnt turn over then the fault will be with the starter moter.
