Car wing

Is it right that these have to be welded on? :S I though there was just clips? As i have a new one to be fitted and my mechanic mate said it had to be welded and if this is correct does £70 sound reasonable?

they are plastic, just bolt on.. they take about 45 mins half hour to change

Thats what i thought about it being plastic :S Will have to ask him then! Although he was winding me up when i was in there earlier!!
