It will be due a service about the time it gets left, so i'll just do it after the 3 months, only thing i'm worried about is it's going to be in winter. Battery is still the orginal, i'll just leave the bonnet open then.
I go away for long periods of time with work and last time was for 3 months, my battery stayed connected and handbrake off wheels chocked in a garage. The car started fine but the brakes were fixed solid. Your Clio is a modern car so cant see an issue with the battery but disconnect just to be safe.
Your best bet is to start the car every two weeks and even take it for a spin, and if you cant be there then find someone you trust to do so.
If left for a massive length of time things will dry out but we are talking years.
I once drove a Mk2 Golf home which had been stood for 2 years, guy left the hand brake off a battery disconnected. Started fine and stopped pretty well considering brake fuild was leaking out the rear compensator valve.
Also saw and Navy lad drive his car though portsmouth dock yard with a 'stuck on' handbrake. car had been sat for 2 months numpty didn't notice the smoke coming from his rear tyre as he drove past me. Helpped him free it off proper flat spot on his tyre mind.
my ph1 sits for 6 months sometimes, starts on the dot after that, usually needs a jump start although ive just changed the battery, it sat through 6 months of -20c at points this winter, 4 of which with a flat battery and it started spot on after that!
