b*****d thing left me stranded in Barmouth (N.Wales) yesterday. Came to start it and got the the 'electrical fault' light on. Car turns over but will not fire.
Immobiliser light goes out. Checked for moisture etc in the relay/fuse box etc and sprayed some WD in there (was VERY damp for a few days). Checked connections on rpm sensor etc, disconnected battery for an hour to reset ECU, all to no avail. Car fired on easy start, so seems that spark is evident but not fuel.
Eventually RAC man called and he couldn't find anything either so I got recovered home (only just in time for the Rugby!!) and it's now sat on my drive.
Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions before I get it taken to Renault next week?
Gone are the days when a quick squirt of WD and a wipe inside the dizzy cap could get you motoring again lol.
Pic of light on dash;
Pic of car looking very sorry for itself. Yesterday was a bad day for the French all round. lol.
