Car won't start :(

Went out tonight to go a quick trip. Car started up then cut out.

Tried to turn it over again and it just refuses to start.

It has cut out recently on startup but has always started at second time of trying.

Help?

After some searching on here I've come across this thread with a video included.

This is the exact noise I'm experiencing now.

Any help appreciated as the thread didn't show any resolution to problem.

Any lights on the dash? I would have gone with tdc, especially as its been struggling before

Anyone? Was hoping someone would recognise the noise on startup.

From searching other posts I've noted it could be:

Coilpack
TDC sensor
HT leads.

See i'd leave coilpack and ht leads to the last of my list because even if one of the leads went or a dodgy coilpack it would still start... albeit on fewer cylinders

Good news car is now running!

Gave the TDC sensor a good clean!
