Car wont start

Havent used my car for a day or so, went to use it today and nothing! Wont even try and start. So i put the battery on charge. It charged up ok.

Hour after i took it off charge went to start it and still nothing. Heaters, radion etc.. wont even come on.

Anyone got a idea what it could be? Cant see that the battery has just died on me like that.

Its a w reg 172.

The other day i also had water coming in from where the inteior light is (a MK1 clio trick!) not sure if this could be related?

Try putting it on charge over night, but its poss batt could just have gone if a cell is defectife. If it was water in the plip receiver it should turn over as immob dont kick in till after starter motor has turned
