Carb Cleaner

[James Clio 16v]

I am thinking of using this on my 93 16v. The car has done 86k.

What are the dangers, if any, of using this?

And what benefits will it give me?

What do you mean by carb cleaner when your car hasnt got a carb?

Carb cleaner does the same job as 10k boost, I just dont want to pay out £25 for something that is practically the same.

i use it to clean my throttle body etc. carb cleaner i got it just in a spray tin! wont do any damage!

do u just take the airbox off and spray it in there ?

yes, but in short bursts or youll stall the engine.

Ah right, same as 10k then, spray it in air intake, keep revs at 3k ish, sh*t comes out back, holes that were previously blocked by sh*t now unblocked causing more problems sorta stuff? hehe

No zed your thinking of engine flush. Shouldnt do any damage through the inlet. Well not unless our engines shagged in the first place.
