My carbon canister is clicking like a bastardo , is the only way to stop it bypassing or is there a better way ?

Mine once did this. All I did was remove it from the car, cleaned all the plugs banged it back together and it was fine ever since. I have heard and seen that they do fail, how I don't know. Just try the cheapest method and clean it then see where that takes you.
