I have a carbon front splitter in Matt finish and its now so faded you can't see the weave. What can be done to bring it to life again?

Try a cutting compound like Mags Scratch X then a finishing polish if that does not work, follow the headlight restoration guide on your splitter using wet and dry paper, scratch X & polish that should defo do it.

It would need to be recovered in the epoxy stuff or whatever its called. My gloss carbon splitter is faded also but not to the extent that the weave is onshow

I've got the 3M headlamp restoration kit to do, so you think this is going to work in the splitter also?

I would need to look at it to be 100%. If you touch it can you feel the weave or does it feel like smoth, if smoth then it will work if weave it needs to be lacquered then polished but then it will be gloss not matt. hope that helps and makes sense haha

Makes sense. I'll check it tomorrow. I'm sure it's smooth though.
