Carbon splitters

My carbon splitter has been on the car 2 years now. Its looking a bit tatty what is the best way to clean it up.

I think the lacquer has gone funny on it :(

has the laquer gone a bit cloudy/white ?

either wet sand and machine polish back up or sand down and relaquer would prob be your best bets

i'm going to be attempting that on my carbon bonnet soon

If the lacquer has "gone funny" it needs re-lacqering pal.

If it's just dull, something like Menz 203s will liven it up a bit. Depends really. Most tend to find it gets heavily stone chipped so opt to have it sanded down and re-lacquered.

Without pics it's hard to tell. But I would just get it scrubbed down and re-lacquered pal.

Oh it's like that eh!

Also private lol at the phone typing Luke rather than like.
