Cars been wacked

woke up this morning to find this

follwed a trail of water and oil for about a mile and came to this

daylight

The corsa driver drove straight into my car then bolted. knocked on his door and his mum said she would pay for it, fair enough but mine wasnt the only car he hit and the other guy is going through insurance, so i am to (no point in her paying out twice) just hope i can buy it back.

Just spoken to my Dad (ex traffic cop) he says you can be disqualified for doing that, he recommended to report that ASAP and also to take no crap from the cops that it's damage only so that they have to report it!

anyone had similar damage? the slam panel e.t.c are perfectly straight, i think the coilover has taken the brunt of it. i have most of the bits to fix it, could have it rolling in an hour or so, but need to wait for the insurance to view. going to have to get it checked to see if its straight :| i reckon it should be ok. got some rare bits to find now :| so if anyone has

Yes, the guy that hit me had plenty of undeclared mods (including brakes that were declared illegal by the police), IIRC he didn't get a penny for his car I got the glass' guide value for mine and I'm still waiting for compo for injuries sustained.
