Took my car in to have the 850T fitted today, but ive been told it cannot be fitted to Mk2 172. The engineer could not find an inhibitor wire which he needed to connect the alarm to. He even showed me a data sheet from toad which explains where to find the neccesary wires but the location listed by Toad was incorrect. The data sheet was for a Mk 1 clio.
I have read on this forum about other people who have the 850T fitted, has anyone else had a problem? The engineer even spoke to another alarm installer who also said they had no idea where the inhibitor wire was.
I have been offered the Toad C4 2:1 upgrade instead, but will have to have a seperate fob, instead of just using the remote on the original key. Does anyone know where i could possibly find out where this inhibitor wire is located?
