Cat mod info

Hello there I'm getting the rear joint removed from the cat on my 182 and getting it sleeved to fit my piper catback system, a fabrication company will be doing it and I'm just taking the cat in for them to do, my question is how long will the new stainless steel sleeve have to be to connect up to my catback? Also does it need to be 2.5" like the catback or slightly larger/smaller? And will the sleeve from the cat fit inside the cat back or over the cat back?

Is there any other things I need to mention to them aswell etc?

Go for about 5-6 inches, if it's to long cut a bit off, better to be to long than to short.
