Is there a way of testing a cat of the car?

No want to test one off the car, thinking of fitting 182 cat to 172 but want to check working before i spend money modifying

Why do you want to fit a 182 cat to a 172 mate? Have you gone for a 182 manifold is that what you mean ?

no 182 cat flows a lot better, dont want the hassle of decat

Waste of time. 182 flows a tad better but your not going to notice it

Dont want the hassle of a decat. A few people on here have done it, I believe bts have modified a few to fit (also taking out restrictor)

If you want to mess with the cat, I´d go for a 182 manifold and sports cat. Otherwise it could be easier to get a 172 sports cat instead of modifying a 182 item.
