What is the life of the Cat on a 182 from experience??

mine lasted 3.5yrs 47k then it cracked. Few people have had similar but others are still on the originals!

when I bought my car it had already split (registered dec. 04 / 24k miles) so I had it welded under warranty.

7~ months (30k miles~) later when I changed the cat and cat back there was a chunk missing rather than just the split.
