Caution with a 182 on Trader

We went to view that 182 for Soph last night. The seller said it had been in a small bump. It turns out this small bump was £3.5K of crash damage which the seller says isn't recorded on the HPI. We know this as Soph's dad actually remembered seeing it at the side of the road after it had been crashed, and knows who owned it. We have also found out there is £8000 of outstanding finance, and the previous owner sold it to the seller after it was repaired for £2000.

It could still be a good car, but be very wary of it.

Finance isn't a problem as long as you get written proof from the company they won't repossess the car should payments not be made, been there and done that. The whole £3500 "small bump" was a much bigger issue!
