CC and Speed Limiter issues

Now I've always had some kind of issue with both of these on my car. Mainly Cruise Control.

What's the minimum speed needed for it to be activated? I can't remember.

But recently when trying it. I flick the switch up, select the speed with the buttons on the steering wheel. Then normally it should take over when you release the pedals.

But the button just switches straight back off.

It only stays highlighted green on the dash whilst I'm literally holding the switch in.

Anyone know what the problem is? Or what I need to do to sort it out?

It's really on and off. Sometimes it will be fine, others not. Not driven the car on a long journey in ages though, but it didn't work when I tried at the weekend...

Does sound like there's a problem if you have to continue holding down the CC switch? I use mine every day on the motorway without issue, so I'd say your's in broken?

I leave my CC switch on (as I never use speed limiter) and use cruise a fair amount, and I've never had it flick off - sounds broken!

Cheers guys. Does seem like it is an issue with the switch though as you say. The CC itself works fine.

I will have another fiddle around with it at weekend. If not I'll purchase a new one.
