Cd changer compatible

Will the cd changer from a mk 2 172 be compatible with the standard HU from my mk 1 172?

Yes.

The connectors at the back of the unit on Renault tape players or CD players head units are the same it will just plug in.

You might need the CD changers cable though so some connectors on the CD changer are different requiring there own cable.

if you pull out the head unit u will be able to see the two little plugs

I have a cable and connector underneath the drivers seat which i think is for the cd changer...will it be as simple as just plugging this into the changer???

It should be yes, if the connector is the same.
