CD changer questions

1. can you fit any changer to the renault headunit?
i e whats the connections like. could a song one be used.

2. is there such thing as an MP3 changer?

i wanna get a mp3 changer on my original renault head unit. is that possible?

I would connect an ipod into the cd changer port with a Dension lead or simerler myself.

Do you mean a CD changer that plays mp3's?

Personaly i would buy an iPod and docking kit. Easy to install and looks the
nuts.

get the denison one... not the denison FM one.. the one that goes into the CD changer port... it comes with a bracket for the dash as well.... and charges it at the same time.. for the bigger Ipod's i think its 150 and a bit less for nano etc.. looks really tidy though..

You're better off buying an Alpine 9850ri. They're only about £150.00 and have full Ipod compatability and MP3 playback.

IMO thats the one to go for, Ipod can then be controlled from the stalk and headunit.

I went for the dock cable option that takes any ipod so that I can use both by 20gb and Nano with it wired into the glovebox.

i only have a small block connection free on the back of my standard stereo in my 52 plate 172 cup.. is this what the denison plugs into?

If you want full ipod and control from the h/unit and stalk it is worth it.

mp3 cd changer....only prob is its not compatable with ur renault headunit, youd need to buy an alpine headunit
