CD Changer Quicky

Had a quick search but thought i best check, i have an alpine CD changer from my old 2000 172 plug straight into my 2005 182 Cup?

I have recaros but i think it will still fit underneath them... :)

Cheers, Bri.

  Lots of Alfas
It depends I think, there are 2 types of the cabasse cd player.. Some 182s have update list hu's as apposed to the tuner list hu. These are wired up different and its not a straight forward swap. The old type is tuner list what most older/other clios have.

Im sure it will get looked for again so i thought id post my results...

CD Changer from a 2001 MK1 172 (Alpine Unit)

CD Changer cable from a 2001 MK1 172 (Part No: 8200028360)

CD Head Unit from a 2005 MK2 182 "Update List" Model

ALL WORKS FINE AND DANDY!!!! :)

If your planning on doing this run the "CD Changer Cable" through the left hand side following the aerial lead; over the steering column and following the loom cable's allowing you to use the existing clips for the new cable:

* 1 x Central Position behind the Clocks

* 1 x Righ Hand Side below the Dash

Once this is done unclip the door seals and trim to channel the cable down the side of the sill channel and under the seat, clip into changer and go!!

Only thing i havent done yet is fasten down the CD Changer TRAY to the chassis, the carpets not cut-out on the 182 CUP but i think the recess holes are still there... will soon find out tommorow though!
