CD player wiring!

Hi guys.

Was wondering if anyone could please help me, I bought a clio in december and it had no stereo in it, just the wires with no block connectors on it. Benn trying to put my cd player in from my old car, but it wont work! 3 different people have tried, said its wired up the right way, but it wont turn on! Can anyone help?! Why wont it work? Also my interior light didnt work, but now it does, because a mate was fiddling with my stereo wiring! Are the light wires supposed to be down there with the stereo wiring?!

nah the fuses are fine! no one knows whats up with it! the cd player worked fine in me old car, unless its the new wires we bought for it, cos the others got left in the old car.

maybe purple on blue isnt the best combination if you want people to read the message!

Have you got a multimeter to check the voltages on the plug in the car?

ta guys, found out why it wouldnt work, me bro n bf tried connectin power wire first instead of the earth, blew loadsa fuses!

me dad an me uncle got it in eventually, by connectin the earth first! and some new fuses!
