central locking gone

Hi, since yesterday my doors have stopped locking. The keys are fine and nothing is getting caught in tdriving thhe doors or the boot or anything. When im driving the light inicating a door open is always on and the car doesnt auto lock anymore. The fuses are all ok. Anyone any idea what it could be?

probably a faulty door switch - these are situated in the door pillars and when you open the door they pop out and switch the interior light on. When these go faulty the "door open" light on the dash stays on and the remote locking will not work - its basically as if the car is thinking the door is constantly open. If yours is a 1.4 dynamique the part number for a new switch is 7700427640 £15.45 - common fault

Thanks j3ned thats probably what it is then! My car is still under warranty so renault are going to be footing the bill for this tonight methinks!
