central locking gubbed?

Got a problem with my central locking, when I press the blip on the key it's not locking the drivers door but the passenger side and boot lock. Door locks fine if I do it the old fashioned key in hole way. Any ideas?

Locking motor in the drivers door is either burnt out or has become disconnected.

How old is the car ?

It's a 2001, thing is it locks sometimes.

Would start taking it apart but don't know what to look for, how much do you reckon a new motor would cost to get fitted?

Loose connection then,
Start at the door grommet where the wires go from the A post to the front edge of the door.

They sometimes get water in there.

ok seems to me the motor has had it, any ideas where I can get one and how much it will be?
