For about the last month or so the immobliser has been giving me problems (flashing light) but usually after a few attempts it goes, and every now and again the central locking off the key would take a while to work. However now the central locking from both keys has completely gone (spare has never worked for the imobiliser), and the immobliser just gives the flashing light all the time. Ive checked the engine earths along with the fuses and have also tried parring the keys back to the car (hold lock button for 5 sec ect.) but no joy. I took the engine out a few months ago and the problem with the immobliser started when it was put back in. Is there anything else that could have caused this or could it just be the chip in the key that has gone?
