Central- locking switch on 07 clio

Hi, I have one of the new clio dynamique sx 1.2's and notice that once in the car I have to press the unlocking button twice below the cd player in order to unlock the passenger side door so passengers can get in from outside. I get in even turn the ignition on but still the door remains locked. I have to press the button once, which brings the light on, and then again which turns it off. All just to be able to let passengers in through the other door. (Its a 3 door).

I was wondering if this was correct and the same in all new clios, and can it be disabled so that the passenger door unlocks when I unlock the car using the key fob.

Ye thats right its a security feature so when you unlock the car and sit in someone cannot open the passenger door and grap whtevers on the seats etc.
