central locking

my drivers door wont open on the remote anymore. it locks ok but wont unlock. you can hear it trying to do something but doesnt unlock..
Any ideas before i pull it to bits ? are the servos tempramental on these ?
any experiences appreachiated.

I'd check the wiring that goes into the door (between the A pillar & the door) black tube full of wires, the block plug can fill with water. I'd check that before you strip the door.

Failing that check the connections/wiring to the lock/solenoid.
