Central Locking

dont normally have the automatic central locking that activates when you start driving on. but was having a fiddle the other day and turned it on.

bit of a problem thou as its in a renualt, it turns its self of after about 5 seconds of driving.

anyone else had this?

To turn it on and off, with the ignition on press and hold the locking button on the dash, on right of hazard switch, until you hear a beep. That's how it works.

when i start my engine it will turn on automatically but then turn itself of afet 5ish seconds

When you get in the car it does nothing - it only locks the doors when you get over 4mph.

That's how it is meant to work, the light on the central locking button on the dash will go red aswell.

it does to start with. but after a few seconds of driving it turns itself of on its own. (beeps and the lights go of)

does the central locking work when you blip the key or does it lock then un arm, i'd test that out too incase its the whole thing wonky, i'm sure mine does not always lock, even though i hear the bolts thump and the lights flash.
