Centre Exhaust Mount Fitting

Hi. I have a Clio Mk2 1.5 DCi and need to fit a new centre exhaust mount. I have linked to a picture below that I found in another thread. This one below is a modified mount but I have bought a standard mount.

Basically mine corroded badly and snapped off (millage is 125k and probably original mount). The hole where the pictured hanger is mounted to; is this what the hole on the standard mount lines up with? Mine is blocked off because the bolt, it would appear, sheared in two and is still in there. How does the original fit? Is it a bolt up through the hole with a nut above the hole? If so what is the bolt and nut I need?
Also how would be best to remove the sheared bolt? It is completely corroded and sits flush with hole. Would it be ok to drill through it?

Pretty sure its just a bolt that goes into a thread in the chassis. If you drilled it, you might need to re-thread the hole.

OK so is there something I could try first to get the old bolt out and preserve the original thread before I resort to drilling through the bolt. Obviously I should start with some penetrating fluid (WD40); how could I possibly get it out?

Possibly try weld a bolt to the nut and get that out, If not cut a line in the bolt for a screwdriver to fit in. WD40 should loosen it up and then should come out with ease.

Well I'm going to try do it myself first and don't have any welding gear or even any welding experience (other than a quick go at uni). I have a dremel so will see if I can use that to cut a line in the bolt. Probably won't even attempt anything till Tuesday though as I've got 9.5 hour shifts at work next two days. Anyone any idea on the bolt I need so I can get one before I give this all a go on Tuesday.

This job is now done. Just wondering if anyone knows about the exhaust mount further forward on the car. At the moment I have the rear and centre exhaust mounts fitted but there is another mount further forward on the car that is also missing on my car. Is this the same as the centre one I have fitted. I would like to be sure before I order one because I can only find the two different (centre and rear) exhaust mounts available to buy for the MK2 Clio.

I don't think there is another one , just center and rear mounts.

Out of interest did you get it drilled out ?

Only centre and rear afaik.

I should have said it is a Powerflow aftermarket exhaust fitted to my car; was on the car when I bought it. It has a mounting point further forward but if the standard exhaust only has two then I won't worry about the additional mount; I might just zip tie it to something solid looking in that area.
The car needed a service anyway so got the garage to deal with it whilst they were doing that. Didn't ask how they got the old bolt out.
