Ceramic wheel sealant

I need to get some decent sealant on my wheels once they get back from refurb.

GTecniq and Carbon collective both do a 15ml post for circa £23. Anyone used either of them?

or does anyone recommend anything else?

Depending on size of wheels, 15ml won't be enough to do 2 coats.

Ive used CQUK 3.0 on plenty of sets of wheels and that always works well.

Gtechnic C5 is good, same compound as C4 so whichever is cheaper.

One brand called 'Rim' (cant remember who makes it) was always well reviewed.

Ive found, to be honest, the key is in the prep with wheels more than slight product differences in the above

That's what I thought when I read the instructions from G-techniq, says 15ml will only do 2 wheels and to buy 30ml for all 4. Yet Carbon Collective says it will do 6-8 wheels, which would suggest 2 coats, but is that just for the face or the barrels too?

Will be just the faces most likely.

If you want barrels doing as well, get 30ml.

Gyeon Rim might be a tad cheaper and comes as 30ml standard.

Best I've used, and I've tried a few on track wheels and road wheels. This s***s over most other ones I've used and is mega durable

Carpro Dlux is the one I had any decent longevity with on track wheels so is what I'd suggest, plus it's pretty easy to apply compared to others

I used that on the Vee and it was still going strong years later. I did the whole wheel and let them cure for 24hours in the garage before I put them back on the car.

I was happy with the Geyon Rim coating. Easy to apply and reasonably priced iirc.

That looks like a Lotus Elise or Exige wheel

Turns my tongue green too but tastes loads better than the pink poorboys stuff

No. These ones are from a PH1. The gold ones were from a nice chap in South Essex.

Mine get 2 coats of Carbon Collective and it lasts well, even with being washed at the local hand car wash 🫣

Huge testament to the quality of the ceramic sealant if it can handle brick acid!
