i am having problems getting hold of the above, i had to phone renault in france who said at first i cant have one as i am the second owner then they said i can for a fee of 130 euros :eek:... phoned the dealer who sounded shocked although they did say they would pay for it.... anyone else had this problem.

also prev owner thought he stapled the certificate to the inside cover of the service book, but it wasnt there not even any staple holes?

it is an import thing you need one as well as the v5 + purchase invoice in order to get warrenty work done

you sure you need all that paperwork just for warrenty work? Seems a bit stupid as they all come from the same place. I always thought they could get all the info they needed from the chasis or engine number.

I had one with my 172, but was never asked for it when they carried out any warranty work.

My boss has a 307 from Motorpoint at the same time as I got the 172 and he didnt get one but hasnt had any issues with Peugeot dealers.

ive never been asked for it buddy and mine is a import and ive had quite abit of warrenty work done to,goin back in once again with the aircon...
 


I took my 182 to Reg Vardys in Houghton Le Spring, with nothing except the keys !, no problems with warranty work.
