Are you guys for real???

Never heard of putting the vtr head on a vts?? Thats what I did with this engine, dci block for strength, 172 head for top end power and big bhp.

Might be worth reading about engine design on wiki guys......

what injectors you using, and how is the apexi controling them?
what clutch you using?
what turbo you using?

i find it hard to beleive your running so much power and only have the same amount of torque as a simple remap would give on a dci 100?

LOL much as i dont want to feed the troll................the cylinder spacing is completely different, you'd be lowering the compression, have nowhere for a glow plug, or a diesel injector and just wouldn't work in any way


Now i'd you have said a K4M head, at least you'd have had the cylinder spacing right ;)

Subaru STI4 yellow injectors, got them for free. Apexi controls them using wires.
Standard clutch, might fit a better one later, but not required, the DCI clutches are like diamonds!
Turbo, IHI23, also got for free, custom downpiep and exhaust.

hahahahahaha ok so i managed to destoy a dci clutch with 190lbft but yours is like a diamond

you are running subaru PETROL injectors from a dci fuel pump? wahahahah they would turn to dust if you tried to run that fuel pressure through them

I take it you are familiar with the combustion cycle of a diesel engine? Well you must be to be producing 248bhp, silly me for asking.

I also take it that you understand how the diesel is injected directly into the cylinder while under compression.

I am therefore led to believe that you have no idea what you're talking about, with putting a "172 head" on a diesel block. A head which wouldn't even fit in the first place, let alone work.
