LOL much as i dont want to feed the troll................the cylinder spacing is completely different, you'd be lowering the compression, have nowhere for a glow plug, or a diesel injector and just wouldn't work in any way

Subaru STI4 yellow injectors, got them for free. Apexi controls them using wires.
Standard clutch, might fit a better one later, but not required, the DCI clutches are like diamonds!

I take it you are familiar with the combustion cycle of a diesel engine? Well you must be to be producing 248bhp, silly me for asking.
I also take it that you understand how the diesel is injected directly into the cylinder while under compression.
I am therefore led to believe that you have no idea what you're talking about, with putting a "172 head" on a diesel block. A head which wouldn't even fit in the first place, let alone work.
