Championship White Honda Type R Integra DC5 - Detail

Got up early this morning so I could make a start on my mates DC5 which he has been wanting my to machine polish for a while. The car is a stunning example for 9 years old and the paint is in great condition as it has been well looked after.

Started with a shampoo wash with some APC and then went straight onto it with the Machine polisher as it had been clayed a few weeks ago. As its a white car it is very difficult for the camera to show a near finish, very difficult colour to work with IMO.

Anyway spent most of the afternoon on it and he is over the moon with the results.

I'm a big fan of the dc5, I've nearly bought one on so many occasions but never quite parted with my cash! I bet white is fairly similar to silver in terms of swirls being fairly hidden?

Cheers buddy. Yeah they are great cars. Yeah definitely White is probably the hardest colour I have detailed, it is very difficult to see the swirls, it has to be in a certain light, but I think I managed to get a good result and finish to it. The owner was over the moon with it

Yep, that is the condition of the bonnet before. The worst part of the car was the rear bumper, but I have no before shots. The car has been looked after so well, so it was excellent condition to start with.
