Changing bulbs in my 172 dash

Hi all.

How much of a chore is it to change all the orange elements of the 172 dash (I'm thinking dials, switches and the radio display) from orange to blue - so it matches the new stereo I want. It seems a shame to have a cool blue stereo and orange everywhere else!

ye i looked into it cost is 20 for leds a nd a smg or somet chip for the dash , or 70 inc fitting

if u do it yer sen u should have a good soldererin iron pref one with heat settings, the leads are surface mount ones and are very small. as for swtiches and dash i dont know , possible just a case of changing normal leds

That blokes kits looks the nuts don't they, especially the 3 colour ones, blue on the 172 looks really great too!!

get the leds from here

about 1/2 the price of the ebay ones ans probably better

i'd say that is a mis print and is supposed to be smt(surface mount technology)

all you need is 10 leds from the website i posted
