It's not really being different though is it ? All your doing is making your car look a bit newer. It'll still be on the same reg (unless you've got a private plate hiding the reg of it)
It does look better with the updated front end yeah. Matt had the knowledge to sort it all out. I'm not saying that the OP doesn't, but I bet it's not an easy job at all.
For a normal road car I don't see why folk would do it, seems a waste of time & effort to me tbh.
i agree cat... that car was "not normal" any way so new front end wasn't going to affect the value of the car etc... i wouldn't do it to a stock clio..
i cn understand what ur saying people but like stated ive got a private plate and its my project car and i got it well cheap but i perfer th leter front end thats y i wana do
does any1 no what parts i actully need please
i think youve mentioned everything you would need. never done it before so there might be a few suprises and you may need something else but i doubt it
IIRC ive seen loads of pics on here from when matt black did the swap of styles on the TT when he had it, looked like a fair bit of work structure wise where the slam panel goes together etc, not 100% though, and dont know where the pics are now
