LOOKING FOR INFO

Car  Renault Clio RS 182
Hi everyone!
Unfortunately, I damaged my car a few days ago, and I'm currently looking for a front subframe (engine cradle) for a Renault Clio 2 RS 182 Phase 2.
I've been doing some research and reading through various forums, and I've come across several discussions suggesting that the subframe from a standard Clio 2 might fit the RS as well.
My questions are:
    • What's the actual difference between the subframe on a standard Clio 2 Phase 2 and the one on a Clio 2 RS Phase 2?
    • Are they interchangeable, or are there differences in mounting points, dimensions, or suspension geometry?
    • Has anyone here actually fitted a standard Clio subframe to an RS? If so, what was your experience?
    • Is there anything specific I should check before buying one?
I'd really appreciate feedback from anyone who has dealt with this or has first-hand experience. I'd rather hear from people who have actually done the swap than rely solely on what I've read online.
Thanks in advance!
🙏

I'm no expert, but I'm going to say, false. The subframe mounting holes, not just for the 4 bolts where it attaches to the car but all the other gubbins, will be RS specific. Also the weight of the engine and gearbox.

I believe 172/182 subframes are interchangeable. They're quite readily available and reasonably cheap too?

Where are you?
