changing head unit...

Im changing the head unit in my brothers car and he wants to keep the remote stalk. is there a kit I can get if so from where and which HUd is it compatiable with?

oh and Im guessing chaging the HU will make the top disply useless? is there any way to keep this? otherwise wot can I put in it place?
