Changing pedals????

Car  Clio 1.2 Expression
Hi

Thinking of changing my pedals to some aftermarket metal ones, how would I go about doing this???

Thanks

Ben

the plastic throttle pedal unclips, drill that one as well, same as others.

Cant cover the holes up though if you take the metal ones off like the others so you may need a new pedal.

I had to drill through the plastic throttle one as it has a silly metal pole which I couldnt drill through. still looks ok though.

My Clio came with these ghastly pedals ...

... so im spraying them with some Plastikote Satin Black! save buying new ones :rasp:

(I had done the backs on this pic, and the fronts are drying as i type!)

Take the rubber covers off the pedals first then drill and bolt, when you take the pedals off again put the covers back on and nobody will know :p apart from the plastic one Which I would cover with black grit/sandpaper :D

I Might do that to mine pigeon, It has gay ripspeed chrome ones, Dont expect the paint would last long though

I Just Tried To Fit Some Sparco Aftermarket Pedals. But The Drill Bit Snapped So Iv Given Up For Now.
AnyOne Got Any Tips For Drilling The Pedals? Like Did You Take The Pedals Off To Drill Them? Coz Its A Akward Angle Drilling, Wedged Between The Chair And Under The Steering Wheel.
Help??

Heres my old car with MOMO RS3000 pedals i fitted.

As per replies, block of wood behind them when drilling. Plastic accel pedal take off and line up and you can get it 99% spot on.
