changing sony cd player help!!!

I have got a sony head unit it my car atm but its quite old. I already have the stalk adaptor and sony adaptor for this radio, can i just buy any new sony radio and will it work or do i have to buy a specific one???

Also, anyone know any good speakers to replace the standard renault ones in my m reg 1.4 clio RT.

I also in the future want to put a sub in the boot, does that affect what cd head unit i should buy???

You can fit any headunit in providing you buy the correct adaptors for it. So in this case you would need a sony iso adaptor which plugs into the headunit and then into the renault loom. If you are going to run a sub in future you need to make sure you buy one with at least 1 pre out.
Personally sony wouldn't be my first choice for headunits though.

thats fair enough. alpine/pioneer but there are some good sony units out there

sorry but which sony head units have this 3.5mm jack as im stuggleing to find one for my clio, i wish people would also post pics of the back of a radio when selling one
