Charging fault

The battery warning light came on my dash. When off once I revd it, but back on at idle. But then stayed on

Checked all the connections and they seem ok. No voltage drop between battery and altenator.

Managed to get a second hand one off eBay but its still the same. Is it that I have got another faulty altenator or is there a comment fault that could be causing this?

Could be a battery fault

or the sensing cable have you checked its ok not corroded ?

Faults fixed was 2 faulty altenators. Got new one today and its working fine. That will teach me for trying be a cheap skate.
