I will have about a grand to blast on the cup in a few months, wondering what is my best bet mod wise If I want to considerably increaes torque and throttle response?

Nothing you do for a grand will make much difference I dont think. I'd save up more or blow it on some nights out

If I can get around 30lbs or torque and throttle response increase, if anyone knows how to for around £2k I would much appreciate ideas. I would like to get rid the flat sport with the clio sport engines more than anything.

check out tyhe tuning places or do a search theres loads of info (if getting cams i would have to compliment it with at least a zorst+decat

RSTuning do a remap that's meant to be good for around 20lb/ft of torque lower in the rev range, and a bit of a gain up top too!
