Chassis Number

Hi,

The garage want my chasis number to get in some partsin for me. is this the long number i found on a sticker above the drivers door sill?
its about 17 characters long and made up of numbers and letters.

Yes the chassis number is on the sticker - 17 characters starting VF1

Its written on a black plaque on the top of the dash too, right under the windsreen on the passenger side.
