Cheap bluetooth dongles off fleabay

Anyone bought one?

I bought one for use on my work pc and it comes with some fancy software called bluesoleil - it's pish can't find any devices and can't find my pc from my phone.

Software looks like this:

Anyone experience of this software and ever got it to work?!

I'm running Windows 2000 Pro on my work pc.

My mate has one, the software is shite. His will work with his phone to transfer pictures though.

What phones ur mate using for it to work? Everyone at my work has Sony Ericssons practically and none are working.

I have that software too and its crap!
To connect i always find my computer using my phone, as the other way round never works.

Belkin bluetooth dongles are great.... though i now have a laptop which inbuilt bluetooth which is better

Can you not find any bluetooth devices then??!! If you click on the red "blob" in the middle it searches for new devices and adds them to the software. Then u assign it a password if u want and pair it with your phone

it works now but it didnt initially, very strange.

Last one I bought I sent back, bought another to be gutted to find the same software... but all is good now.

Can you name the devices? stupid addresses it gives them at the mo

well mine automatically gives it "Nokia N80" and "Nintendo Rvl" the second is my Wii remote that i was on my PC.... Very cool i must say!

Dont know why its giving them silly names... unless u havent assigned ur phona a name ie "bigc&ck" or whatever!!!

lol aye my phones got a name and so does everyone elses phones and pcs around mine. I'll play with the settings on Monday. ta
